Difference Between CA and ACCA

What is the difference between CA and ACCA in reference to laws in Pakistan?

There are many similarities between the curriculums of CA and ACCA. The single most important difference between them is that CA is a local qualification, granted in Pakistan by ICAP, a professional body of Chartered Accountants, whereas ACCA is an international qualification or a global professional degree.

I think it is difficult to say which one is better than other. In fact, I don't know much about them. The following is what I learned from the Internet.

ICAP-CA qualifiers have more growth opportunities in Pakistan, because of ICAP's dominant position as an accountancy regulatory body there and the large influx of ACCAs in Pakistan's job market.

In countries that have its own localized Accountancy qualification, CAand ACCA in Faisalabad have same value i.e. they are inferior to local qualification.

On the other hand, in countries that do not have any localized Accountancy qualification, CA is generally considered superior to ACCA, for example in Middle East countries, but in Western countries, CA is inferior to ACCA.

It would be easier for us if we have only one qualification and one accounting body in the whole world. But it is impossible to restructure or monopolize it now; everybody wants to be the one.
